Fifty Shades of Grey

This trilogy sure is killing my time!  Today I purchased book two of three and find myself completely addicted to it.  Someone told me it was like Hunger Games, which couldn't be farther from the truth.  I guess the real question is... how the heck will they make this into a movie?  Unless it's made by Vivid Entertainment (just saying).  Did y'all see the skit they did on Saturday Night Live making fun of it?  Absolutely hilarious.  But, what's more hilarious/disgusting is hearing Barbara Walters talk about sex.  I don't know about you, but I think I'll pass!  Oh and Barb, HBO GIRLS is the funniest show ever.  PLEASE stick to other social media topics.

COLDPLAY

You can't beat Coldplay at The Hollywood Bowl!  It's a recipe for awesome-ness.  I gathered my girls last week and convinced them we should scalp tickets.  With little faith in the chance of getting seats, they reluctantly agreed, and OF COURSE we got lucky with three tickets!!!  Therefore, I TOLD YOU SO LADIES!
Chris didn't sing "Green Eyes," which is my favorite song, but he did travel up to the nosebleeds and sing a few songs.  If you've never seen Coldplay live, I highly encourage you to!

The Bravery

If you're in Las Vegas this weekend, be sure to catch The Bravery at Mandalay tomorrow night!

The first time I met my boyfriend, I saw him from across the room and instantly knew that I had to know him.  I was drawn to him.  It's something I cannot describe, but maybe it is along the lines of "love at first sight."  The evening was coming to an end before we started chatting.  We were actually at an event were Jeremy Piven was playing the drums so our conversation was music.  When he told me he was the drummer of The Bravery, I could not place their songs in my head, but I heard the band name a thousand times before.  The next day I googled the band and was like "wow, I probably sounded like a complete idiot talking about bands I loved."  Anthony got my number, but I didn't hear from him for an entire month.  After that we were inseparable.  It's now safe to say that I am his biggest fan.  Grab tickets- TicketMaster and go play with my favorite band in sin city!

Love,

Road Trip

My roommate told me she had never seen a cactus before, so we packed our bags and headed to Arizona. I had never been and the weather report for LA was gloomy so I was up to the "layout by the pool challenge."  Although, it was hard not to just stop in Palm Springs, but we pushed through and waved to Coachella peps.
A six hour drive doesn't seem long, but when you don't know where you're going it seems to drag on and on.  We made frequent stops for scratch tickets, Frosty Freeze, and anything that looked amusing.
Scottsdale felt like college all over again. If you decide to go, I have to say The W Hotel for the pool and accommodations.  Olive & Ivy is an absolute must for dinner and coffee!!!

Don't worry, Lizzie got to see a cactus!

Believe that Change is POSSIBLE

It's easy to get angry and feel defeated.
It's beautiful to find hope, believe in change, and make a difference.
